Synopsis
Fragments of a life. Echoes of a tragedy. When a young woman begins sifting through Flor Marie’s long-buried memorabilia, she sets off a reflective journey into the heart of November 6th, 1967. As Flor Marie retreats into the memory of the last time she saw her lover, her niece rummages through the remnants of that fateful morning to find his final gift. He was one of the construction workers who perished in the collapse of the Queen Juliana Bridge, a disaster that redefined the soul of Curaçao. Through this discovery, the film reimagines the true events of a national catastrophe, blurring the lines between a woman’s private heartbreak and an island’s collective past.
